Tokyo Sunadokei
The sand is all that’s left of Tokyo. Turn it back.
An original 3D RPG I’m building solo, with AI as my engineering and production team.
Two thousand years after 2007, Tokyo is a desert. One survivor wakes among the dead with a device that commands demons, and goes looking for a way back. Demon negotiation, turn-based battles, and a world built in the spirit of the classic Japanese RPGs I grew up on.
How I’m building it
Directing AI development
I direct AI agents to write code, operate 3D tools, render, test, and report back while I set the game’s design, review the results, and hold the quality bar.
The playable first act includes exploration, random encounters, demon negotiation, a separate battle screen, and a boss fight.
From concept art to animated characters
Concept art becomes a 3D model through Tripo3D. Retopology reduces models from roughly two million polygons to around 10,000 while preserving the key features of the design.
When standard auto-rigging tools failed on my generated characters, I directed the development of a scripted Blender pipeline to fit skeletons, repair fused geometry, and retarget Mixamo motion across the cast.
The characters are then animated and brought into the engine to walk, run, shoot, and take hits.
Testing and presentation
An automated route plays through the first act after changes to help catch regressions. Performance testing guides decisions about lighting, shadows, ambient occlusion, and volumetric dust.
A cinematic opening introduces the world. Digital summoning effects frame the battles, and a battered 2007 PDA inspires the field interface.
Art direction and audience
Characters, demons, props, environments, and interface elements follow a shared creative direction inspired by classic Japanese RPGs.
My marketing background also informs the trailers and positioning for an audience of retro RPG fans and collectors.
Graphics & web図像
My background in graphics and art informs how I direct imagery, develop characters, and bring designs into motion. I work across composition, visual consistency, and movement, refining the details so the finished pieces hold together.
Video & film映像
Photoreal content, directed shot by shot.
I combine AI production with my experience in art, video editing, and storytelling. I direct composition, pacing, continuity, and the details that make a scene believable, from the first references through the final cut.
